As a parent and child care provider, I know good food and nutrition are important for your child. That is why I have chosen to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The CACFP is a program provided by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). CACFP has created a Menu Planning Guide booklet. This booklet gives information on meal pattern requirements, serving quality meals and snacks, and tips on menu planning and grocery shopping for your child. It also contains a set of eight tear-out recipe cards.
